What’s on offer:

Athens #1 Free Walking Tour is approximately a 2.50 - 3.00 hour tour which includes a break for refreshments halfway through. Our walk will start in the historical centre of Athens named Plaka. From Plaka the group will walk through the cobblestone streets of Athens that have witnessed over 7,000 years of history, feel what its like to be in the birthplace of democracy, philosophy, and the modern Olympic Games. Throughout the day we will view sites from the iconic Acropolis to the island district of Anafiotika. Every corner of Athens has a story to tell.

Athens #1 Free Walking Tour is not just a look into the past, throughout the tour we aim to give you an orientation of the Athens Centre district, teach you about some of the local culture and customs, have fun with some mythological stories and of course leave you with a list of some of our favourite recommendations of tavernas, kafenios and local hang out spots.

The tour itself took three hours but we could have stayed three more, to be honest. We've got a good sense of Athens - it's history, lifestyle, politics, architecture gastronomy and religion. Rest assured, the tour is not boring at all. Nick can make it very entertaining and he is very keen on sharing as many things with you as possible, while taking time to rest and also diversifying his discourse to fit the audience.
